About Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves is a shared-world pirate adventure where you and your crew sail a ship across a gorgeous, ever-changing ocean. There is no fixed story path — instead you set your own goals: hunt skeleton forts, dig up buried treasure, battle the Kraken, or chase other players' ships for their loot. Crewing a ship is a cooperative dance of steering, raising sails, bailing water, and firing cannons, and voice chat with your crew is half the fun. Other players are the real wildcard, and every voyage can turn into a thrilling chase, a parley, or a naval battle at a moment's notice. The game is updated constantly with new voyages, world events, and seasonal content, and everything you earn is cosmetic — the adventure itself is the reward. It works best with friends, but matchmaking and solo sloops make it approachable alone too.
