About Metroid Fusion
Metroid Fusion is the 2002 Game Boy Advance entry in the Metroid series, and one of the most story-driven games Samus Aran ever starred in. After a mission goes wrong, Samus is infected by an X parasite — a shape-shifting organism that mimics its hosts — and must hunt the creatures aboard a research station, with the station's computer AI (the mysterious Adam) guiding her through restricted areas. The game is a tighter, more linear take on the classic Metroid formula: exploration is still key, but the story pushes you forward, and a terrifying SA-X clone of Samus stalks the station in one of gaming's great pursuit sequences. The gameplay blends platforming, shooting, and ability-gated exploration with a strong horror-tinged atmosphere. It is considered one of the best GBA games ever made and a key chapter in the Metroid timeline.
