About Age of War
Age of War is a tower-defense-and-army hybrid strategy game where you defend your base while your troops march at the enemy across five ages of civilization. You start in the Stone Age, training cavemen while your base attacks the enemy base automatically, and research upgrades to advance through the ages — Stone, Bronze, Iron, Medieval, and futuristic — each unlocking stronger units and defenses. The gameplay is a constant balance: spend gold on troops to push the front line, or save it for base defenses and age upgrades. Both bases shoot automatically at the units marching between them, so battles are a war of attrition decided by your army composition and upgrades. The game's escalating technology and simple but addictive loop made it a flash-era favorite. It is easy to learn, hard to master, and perfect for short sessions.
